little

about me

A

I started doing Art and Digital Art in high school, I'd say my late Teens.  I started with photoshop 7 and stuck with it for a few years.

I mostly go for a hyper rendered look, or I try to use compositing to create vaguely realistic creations.  I also enjoy straight up photo editing on Lightroom or in Photoshop.

The funny thing is now years later after not using graphics arts programs i find myself in need of such aids. I plan to go into Geographic Information Sciences and make maps, a technical and (less fun maybe) graphic arts endeavour, but useful none the less!

I like to take the approach that real life doesn't need to be boring, it can be a fun or even made up.

The fact that art is sometimes something that isn't, but can be, or is, and shouldn't be.  Memes, fun adverts, images, and even hidden meanings all provide an opportunity for art or the idea of *art*.

I also have come to like not just static images, I have made several movies, clip shows, PowerPoints, and more recently using my drone to create.

An area I have also started to gain interest in is known as Photogrammetry.  This is a cool thing (especially for drones or modern smartphones). It's the creation of a 3D model, texturing the model, and generating any number of files that support 3D objects and models.  You can use a drone and take 2D images and create 3D models from various images. The applications are endless and exciting to me
